Welcome to OHEA Online!  This website was developed with you, OHEA's membership, in mind.  It is our goal that this website be used as the main communication tool to keep you up to date with relevant and timely information concerning Association business.

 

The Oak Harbor Education Association represents about three hundred teachers, librarians, counselors, and educational specialists who work for the Oak Harbor School District.  This site provides information about the Association’s governance and operations, issues related to working conditions, and negotiations.

Does your health care matter to you? Our legislators are considering requiring all public K-12 educators to go on one state health insurance plan. This means we would no longer be able to choose the plan that is right for us and our families. (Senate Bill 6442 Information Sheet from the WEA). Contact your legislators and the Governor to let them know not to take over our health care choices. DO NOT LOBBY ON SCHOOL EQUIPMENT OR WORK TIME.
